Building Toward the Future "Basics"

Building toward the future is a mixture of old ideas with new technology to build spaces for people, farming and recreation.  Only modern humans would be dumb enough to build there nests on the surface, out in the open, and in known fault zones.  We build with substandard materials for the climates we build in and then spend resorces like there was no end to heat them.  I doubt that if we find life on other planets that they will be building houses between the ocean and an fault line boardered by a volcano.  We build in open spaces above ground exposed to wind, sun, cold, heat, earthquake, hurricanes, sleet, snow and even tidal waves.  Our ancestors lived in caves they may have been on to something we can use for building toward the future.  I hope you enjoy my rantings while we shovel out here in the east.
